Notification system
Notification
The application tracks all changes made by individual users on tasks. It then provides notifications about these changes to the users for whom this change is important.
- The author of the task receives information provided by the assignee
- The assignee receives notifications about the creation of a new task and about additional changes made to the tasks by the author.
When the application is launched, a number may appear next to the bell icon. This number indicates how many changes have occurred since your last visit. The number is updated periodically every 15 minutes while working in the application.
When you click on the bell icon, a window with a list of notifications will open. Notifications are grouped by projects. Each notification includes information about the date and time of the change, who made the change, the task number and subject, and a description of the change made.
The window displays notifications that were created within the last seven days. If you haven't been in the application for more than a week, the icon in the header may show a larger number than the number of notifications you see in the window.
Email Notifications
For each project team member, you can individually configure whether they should receive messages via email.
None - The email will never be sent.
Standard HTML E-mail - A message will only be sent when a task is created, and it will be in the form of a standard email.
Calendar Issue E-mail - A message will be sent when a task is created as a calendar event. The task will be added to the calendar on the planned completion date. In this case, updates will also be sent if there is a change in the planned completion date, a change in the assignee, or if the task is deleted.
Aggregated E-mail - By configuring a summary notification, you ensure that not every change is sent separately, but rather that a single summary email is created containing all the changes for every task related to the user across the entire project. These emails are automatically sent every night.
