====== Creating a Period ======

Only a user with the "Project Administration" permission can create a new period or change the settings of an existing period.

A new period is created in either the Contractor Works window or the Subcontractor Works window, as the period is shared by all project participants.

Click the calendar icon in the window header.\\

In the "Period Selection" window, select "+ Add Period".

In the "Create Period" form, select the start date in the "Period From" field. The end date in the "Period To" field is filled in automatically, but you can change it to any other date.

The period description is generated automatically based on the selected dates, but it can be edited manually.

After a new period is created, a notification email is sent to all users who have permission to enter work statements on behalf of the contractor or subcontractor.
